Private piano and cello lessons are weekly and students are expected to study year round. We teach 30, 45, and 60 minute lengths.

 

monthly tuition 

30 min, $120/mo

45 min, $180/mo

60 min, $220/mo

• These are fixed rates per month regardless of the number of weeks in the month - usually 4, sometimes 5, and in rare cases 3 (see vacation weeks below).

• Tuition is paid at the beginning of the month, for that month. We run most of our students’ payments through PayPal/Venmo but if you'd prefer cash or check that's fine as long as it arrives at the first lesson of the month.

• There are no lessons during the vacation weeks of Spring Break, Thanksgiving, the Winter holidays, and New Year's Eve/Day. These vacation weeks are built into the monthly tuition fee, so no makeups will be issued.

 

make-ups/missed private lessons 

When we have to cancel, we will try our best to find a day/time for a make-up lesson. If we can't, we will credit 25% of the tuition fee the following month. If you have to miss a lesson we will do our absolute best to find a time to make-up the lesson, however if we can't, no credit will be given. We are much more flexible in the summer, we realize people go on vacation! If you will be gone please try to let us know in advance. We'll either figure out a make-up lesson(s), or you won't be charged for the missed lesson(s).

trial lesson

We do not offer a trial lesson. You are welcome to purchase a full month of lessons and cancel before the following month if it's not a fit for you.​
